Empowering Students and Building Allies
Our Leadership Awareness Program
This program is designed to empower and create a culture of standing up against insensitivity and biases. It helps create allies by changing behavior.
Through our program and activities, students, athletes, and staff learn to understand and appreciate each other's differences. This understanding leads to a more supportive environment where everyone feels valued and respected.
By participating in our program, individuals gain the confidence and skills to make a positive impact in their communities.
Student Mental Health & Belonging
Students today face increasing pressure, isolation, and emotional challenges. POAC Succeed creates spaces where students feel safe to reflect, connect, and growacademically, emotionally, and socially.
This impact area focuses on:
Emotional awareness and peer connection
Student voice and leadership development
Building allyship and mutual understanding
Creating environments where students feel seen, heard, and supported
When students feel a sense of belonging, they are more engaged, resilient, and prepared to contribute positively to their communities.
Educator Wellbeing
and Burnout Prevention
Educators carry the emotional weight of their students, classrooms, and communities often without adequate support. POAC Succeed prioritizes the wellbeing of educators by creating opportunities for reflection, connection, and shared leadership.
Our work recognizes educators as whole people, not just professionals. By fostering supportive adult culture, schools can reduce burnout, strengthen relationships, and sustain meaningful change.
This impact area focuses on:
Supporting educator mental health and wellbeing
Reducing burnout through connection and shared responsibility
Creating space for reflection and authentic conversation
Strengthening adult culture within schools
Healthy school communities depend on educators who feel supported, valued, and connected.
School Culture &
Leadership Development
Lasting change happens when culture—not just programming—is aligned with shared values. POAC Succeed works alongside school leaders to strengthen culture through leadership development, relationship-building, and intentional systems of care.
By aligning students, educators, and leadership around belonging and wellbeing, schools can create environments where positive behavior, accountability, and connection reinforce one another.
This impact area focuses on:
Leadership development rooted in empathy and understanding
Strengthening school-wide culture and climate
Aligning students and adults around shared values
Creating sustainable, people-centered systems
This work moves beyond short-term interventions to support long-term cultural transformation.
Student Ambassadors Program
The POAC Succeed Student Ambassadors Program is where learning becomes leadership. After completing our four foundational sessions, students step into meaningful roles as peer leaders serving alongside the POAC team to help facilitate classroom conversations and model belonging in action.
Student Ambassadors are intentionally selected from upper grade levels and equipped to support younger students through guided dialogue, reflection, and connection. Rather than leading from authority, ambassadors lead through empathy creating spaces where students feel safe, supported, and understood.
Through this experience, Student Ambassadors help strengthen school culture by:
Encouraging open and respectful conversation
Supporting peers through understanding and connection
Modeling what it means to listen, lead, and care for others
Helping classrooms become places of trust, hope, and belonging
Ambassadors are trained to support students from all backgrounds and experiences, helping schools foster a more inclusive, positive, and people-centered environment.
