Why the 90% Matters

Learning the 90% matters because it helps us see beyond the small part of someone we can easily observe, their looks, actions, or words, and understand the much larger part we can’t see, like their experiences, values, and struggles.

When we take time to learn that 90%, we replace judgement with empathy, build stronger connections, and create spaces where everyone feels seen, valued, and heard. It reminds us to be curious, not furious, and to look beneath the surface because that’s where true treasures are found.
